Beautiful ladies indeed. But how do they measure at the Vogue this most beautiful thing ! At a certain stage of life (quite a long period it is), to a man every girl is pretty and beautiful. And if he is in love, the most beautiful !

If, as a man, you have found every girl pretty and beautiful at some stage of life, then we are in the same boat.
If you have not fallen in love with every pretty and beautiful girl, then we are slightly different.
Beauty is what beauty does. Vogue is just another reason to celebrate the universal appeal of beauty.

The poet is being just poetic when he says that a thing of beauty is joy forever. Anything so most beautiful, you get used to and it gets to become not so beautiful, and vice versa, anything so ugly in the first sight, gets to be okay in subsequent viewings. Beauty is indeed in the eye of the beholder. Moreover, the sex hormones do colour our vision.
Whats beauty really ?

What beauty is? A strange question actually. Beauty is as you say in the eye of the beholder. But a real beauty is one that is so in the eyes of all beholders. Just like a budding rose or a Taj Mahal.
I believe that things closer to perfection are more beautiful than those that are not.
In the case of a woman it then becomes the facial features, the physical attributes, her attire, her elegance, grace and personality.
